An overall great experience shopping for a stair lift. Barry was very friendly, knowledgeable, and clear and patient in answering questions. When I telephoned them several months later to inquire about used stair lifts since we couldn’t really justify buying a new one in our case, it seemed Williams had just what I wanted, so I went back. When I told Barry I wanted to go look at a slightly upgraded model at a competitor before deciding, surprisingly it turned he had that exact model in stock used as well, and that’s the one I ended up buying. Afterward, email and telephone support was prompt and courteous. Setting an appointment date and time was done easily quickly and at my convenience just 2 business days after I’d been to the showroom. The installer was professional, courteous, careful, and clean. When he asked if I wanted the handheld remote controls mounted on the wall and I replied yes, he didn’t have them on hand but said he’d have another worker come by with them and mount them by the end of the day. Surprisingly (again), the worker showed up with them less than an hour later. A couple of weeks later as I came to the realization that the lift’s chair was very slightly too high for its occupant, I called Williams and was able to schedule a very prompt and convenient service call, and now it is perfect. We’ve had it for 2 months now and it’s worked beautifully. I definitely recommend Williams Lift Company to others. They provide sales and customer service in a way that we don’t see much of anymore.
