I rented a stairlift for my wife but she only used it for 2 weeks before she passed away. Even though, there was a 3 month minimum rental, I called Barry and though he didn’t have to, he agreed to refund me a portion of the rental. I know if I ever need a stairlift again that I would do business with Williams. Being in sales for over 40 years, I can appreciate the good customer relations built by that small act.

I have been using lift and I am terribly happy with it – I am so glad my doctor recommended I get one and happy I selected Williams.

An overall great experience shopping for a stair lift. Barry was very friendly, knowledgeable, and clear and patient in answering questions. When I telephoned them several months later to inquire about used stair lifts since we couldn’t really justify buying a new one in our case, it seemed Williams had just what I wanted, so I went back. When I told Barry I wanted to go look at a slightly upgraded model at a competitor before deciding, surprisingly it turned he had that exact model in stock used as well, and that’s the one I ended up buying. Afterward, email and telephone support was prompt and courteous. Setting an appointment date and time was done easily quickly and at my convenience just 2 business days after I’d been to the showroom. The installer was professional, courteous, careful, and clean. When he asked if I wanted the handheld remote controls mounted on the wall and I replied yes, he didn’t have them on hand but said he’d have another worker come by with them and mount them by the end of the day. Surprisingly (again), the worker showed up with them less than an hour later. A couple of weeks later as I came to the realization that the lift’s chair was very slightly too high for its occupant, I called Williams and was able to schedule a very prompt and convenient service call, and now it is perfect. We’ve had it for 2 months now and it’s worked beautifully. I definitely recommend Williams Lift Company to others. They provide sales and customer service in a way that we don’t see much of anymore.

About 2 months ago, my husband and I surprised my mom with installing a Williams Lift Co. chair lift in her home while she was recovering in a rehabilitation center from some surgery. Purchasing from Williams was the best decision we could have made for a chair lift! The entire process (which took less than one week) was seamless! The representatives over the phone (including the Company owner, whom I was surprised to learn I’d been talking with at the end of one conversation) were very helpful, professional, polite, and courteous. I chose Williams because of the longevity of the company and the excellent customer reviews online. Now I can add my review to those others! I highly recommend Williams. I called for info on a Friday, called back on Monday to request the installation, had Steve stop by on Wednesday to measure the stairs, and then had Steve return on Thursday to install the chair lift — a totally smooth and super-fast process! Steve, like the other company representatives, was professional, personable, highly competent / knowledgeable, and a very sweet/ down-to-earth person. I believe the installation itself took just a little over an hour or so, if my memory serves me. Steve also thoroughly explained the usage of the lift to my husband and me and gave us appropriate documentation. When my mom returned home, she was thrilled at our surprise! She has told my husband and me repeatedly that she doesn’t know how she would get up and down the stairs anymore if it weren’t for the lift. She is so grateful and no longer dreads a long, painful walk up steep stairs to her bedroom. She talks with joy about being about to carry small items on her lap up and down the stairs. She is so happy about this, which makes us so relieved and happy too. I’m very grateful for the Williams’ “family” excellent products and customer service. They are a wonderful company to work with and provided a product that has helped immensely with my mom’s everyday life. Thank you so much, Williams — God bless you! 🙂

They provide prompt service. the installer came the next day after I called to inspect/measure; and then the next day the lift was installed. The installer was couteous and very knowledgable about the product the rental/purchase options. The company provides 24 x 7 service calls which others do not. Also, they apply the full amount of the rental towards the purchase of the unit; where other companies only apply a precentage of the rental cost. I am very pleased with my chair lift and with Willliams Lift.
