Tips for Preventing Slip and Falls Among Seniors

For seniors, preventing slip and falls is essential for continued good health. Preventing these common injuries is a two-step process. First, take care to improve your own health through exercise and vitamin supplements. Secondly, work to improve your mobility by installing mobility aids in your home and eliminating safety hazards.

In this video from the Dr. Bob show, you’ll get everyday tips for preventing falls around your home. Installing railings and grab bars is one the best steps you can take, as this will allow you to access more parts of your home safely.

At Williams Lift Company, we help people prevent slip and fall accidents around stairways with premium stairlift options. Call our Fanwood office at 908-322-7070 for more on how we can help you.
