Warning Signs That a Senior is Struggling

If you’re concerned about keeping a senior relative or friend safe, there are a few precautionary steps you can take to ensure he or she is living in a secure, comfortable place. As this video demonstrates, these steps include installing raised toilet seats with arms that allow seniors to stand more easily.

Some signs that your senior is struggling with everyday life include loose towel bars or windowsills that have been used to help adults get up from the toilet or a favorite chair. If you’ve noticed a table or a lamp missing from a senior’s favorite seating area, this can also be interpreted as a sign that he or she is using objects for support to stand up.

If you suspect a senior whom you love is in need of some home modifications to ensure his or her safety, then come visit Williams Lift Company in Fanwood. For more information on our products and services, call us today at 908-322-7070.
