Review of ramp in Rahway, NJ

We are so grateful to Williams Lift Co. for their great service, always; but, specifically most recently, on Monday, July 17, 2023. We rented and then purchased our ramp from Williams Lift. We have had it for quite a few years now, without issue. This past weekend, with all the rain, I gather that the ground under the ramp shifted a bit, as one section of the ramp came loose, leaving a gap and a sort of step of about 2 inches between the first:portion of the ramp ad the rest of the ramp. We discovered this late Sunday night, when taking out the trash. I called early, around 7:20,AM., Monday morning, hoping to leave a message on their answering machine. To my surprise, a real person…the answering service, took the call. She asked a few questions and listened to me. This was key, as my dad had a doctors appointment that day at 1pm., which we scheduled months ago. She assured me that the message would be relayed to a technician and that I should get a call back as soon as possible, but definitely once they opened, at 9AM. Sure enough, at 9:03 AM, Laura called, she took more detailed information, I emailed her a photo, to explain what I couldn’t put into words. And, on one of the hottest, most humid days this summer, 2 wonderful gentlemen came and fixed the ramp. They were done before 10:30AM. I remember because earlier, I called the aide who comes to help get my dad dressed and l explained that she would have to enter via the steps at the back entrance. But all of that wasn’t necessary, thanks to Williams Lift Co, and their prompt, caring, professional, excellent service. The aide was able to use the ramp and so was dad. He made it for his doctor’s appointment. Hooray! Thank you, Thank You, Thank You Williams Lift Co. for excellent emergency service. You really consider the needs of your clients and in my opinion, go all out to serve them.
